Zurich Insurance Company chooses Astris
Zurich Insurance Company Ltd (Spółka Akcyjna), a branch of the Swiss insurance group, has signed a lease for approximately 1,000 sq m of office space in the ASTRIS office building under construction at the Polsad roundabout in Krakow. About 100 Zurich employees will move into their new office in Q2 2017. The landlord was represented by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, whilst the tenant was represented by JLL.
Zurich local entity’s office at ASTRIS building is a continuation of the company’s growth outside Switzerland. The building will become a workplace for many highly qualified specialists in accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and financial data management.
ASTRIS will provide nearly 13,000 sq m of new functional office space in Krakow, Poland’s largest regional city. The project is scheduled for delivery in April 2017. Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate services firm, is responsible for its commercialization. ASTRIS will have nine aboveground and two underground levels, a car park with 169 parking spaces and 80 bicycle parking spaces.
Construction company RE-BAU is the general contractor for the ASTRIS office building, designed by Tomasz Zawisza and Marek Trela, architects with long-standing professional experience and graduates of the Architecture Faculty of the Krakow University of Technology. Construction is supervised by a consulting and engineering company TEBODIN POLAND of the BILFINGER Group. Legal services for the project are provided by law firm CRIDO.
